Oct.-22, 2013- Congrats to the 12u boys for tipping off the 2013/14 Fall-Winter season with a first place finish at Gametime Gym in Bloomington, IL!
Nov.2013- The annual Champaign Heat Douglass Rec Basketball League begins this month! This year our 6th grade league features 13 teams from Central Illinois: Jefferson Jaguars, Mahomet Bulldogs (5th), Champaign Heat-RED, Illinois Truth (6th), Mt. Zion Braves, Edison Comets, St. Joe Spartans, Franklin Knights, Mahomet Bulldogs-Orange, Champaign Heat, Illinois All Stars, Illinois Truth (5th), and Mahomet Bulldogs-Blue. Good Luck to all teams participating, we look forward to yet another competitive, fun league!
Nov. 15, 2013-Good luck to the 12u and 11u boys travel teams as they compete in the Peoria Area Elite Thanksgiving Tournament this weekend!
Dec. 4, 2013-The travel 5th & 6th grade teams will be traveling to Joy of the Game this weekend to compete in the Holiday Challenge Tournament. Good luck boys, play hard!
Dec. 8, 2013- Congrats to the 5th grade boys for a 3rd place (3-2) finish and a big congrats to the 6th grade boys for winning 1st place (4-1) at the 2013 Joy of the Game Holiday Challenge!!! Great job fellas!
Dec. 19, 2013-Good luck to the 6th & 5th grade travel teams as they get ready to compete in the Gametime Gym Christmas tourney this weekend!
Dec. 22, 2013-Congrats to the 6th grade boys! They went 5-0 and worked very hard to earn the Gametime Gym 2013 Christmas Tournament! Also shout out to the 5th grade team. Down a few players, guys stepped up and they earned 3rd place with a 2-1 finish.

Jan. 12, 2014- The 6th & 5th grade travel teams will be preparing this week for the Midwest Invitational at the Waukegan Fieldhouse/Libertyville Sportcomplex this weekend. Good luck boys, lets finish the winter travel season off strong!
